The Civil Protection Police Unit advises people to stay indoors on Sunday and postpone all travels, in a statement released Sunday afternoon.

Sunday’s storm, announced last night, will, according to the latest estimates, reach its peak at around 18h Sunday night, and stay violent towards midnight, possibly longer.

According to DV, some trampolines have been flying around. Search and rescue teams are active around the country. No major incidents have been reported so far.

The wind map accompanying this post shows the Met Office’ late afternoon forecast for 17h. The color-scale shows average wind strength in meters per second. The storm is expected to decline somewhat in the late afternoon, as it changes direction, before the evening’s full blast.
